One or two more days of polishing, and I'll be done with this AS YET UNTITLED (grrr) book, the second book in the SECOND SONS trilogy.

I didn't get as much done today as I'd hoped, but I had fun instead.  I met my critique group for lunch (we aren't exactly critiquing these days, but we still get together for the all-important lunch).  We visited our friend Judy who has been in the hospital.  She just moved to a new apartment and we rearranged her furniture for her and hooked up her TV.  It was good to see her up and around and feeling chipper again.

I made my first beaded lanyard today (for the Memo-Pause).  I'm still figuring out how exactly to put this thing together, but I love, love, love doing the bead work.  I remember making seed-bead necklaces (love beads!) back in the sixties when I was a kid, and how much fun that was--buying those long, thin tubes of beads.  I also finished my two birdhouses tonight.  I need to hang them up soon.  My Carolina wrens are singing up a storm, so they're probably pairing up already and will be looking for real estate soon.
