In another life, I create and sell Memo-Pause(TM), the wearable notebook for the foxy but forgetful woman. Here are a few of the styles:
No, not for clothes or shoes, but kitchen stuff! I went to Tuesday Morning and bought a George Foreman Grill (it came with a free Crock-Pot type slow cooker) and some bakeware. I was tempted by the Calphalon pans but they were still pretty pricey even with the discount. Oh, also bought a kitchen rug--for in front of the sink.
Then it was on to Bed, Bath & Beyond, where I bought a MISTO, which is a thing that allows you to spray your own olive oil. (Instead of buying non-stick spray.) Also got an olive oil dispenser (for drizzling). What fun!
It was also Date Night, so Rob and I walked around the corner to ... I can't remember the name. It's a Mexican restaurant, fairly new. We tried it once before and thought it was just okay, but some neighbors have been raving about it, so we tried it again and I was much more impressed this time. I had something I can't pronounce, but it was much like a chicken fajita but with cheese melted on top, on corn tortillas. Terrific fresh food, yum.
Nothing else special, just writing, etc. But a very nice day.
Thanks for letting me share it with you,
Kara
