In another life, I create and sell Memo-Pause(TM), the wearable notebook for the foxy but forgetful woman. Here are a few of the styles:
During a long absence, perhaps raising a nest of babies in some other part of the neighborhood, I've been hearing the Carolina wren calling. (Maybe more than one.) For such a tiny bird it has a very loud voice! Unfortunately it's been too hot for me to sit outside or track it down.
Tour de France was, dare I say it? Dull today. You know it's a dull day when everyone gets excited over a sprint for 12th place. Tomorrow is another flat stage. Either there will be a successful breakaway and another young unknown will win the stage, or the sprinters will duke it out. (I kind of like it when the young guys win a stage, like today). But just when I'm sure the day will be slow, something wild happens, so I don't dare not watch.
I finished a big, tedious part of my rewriting today, analyzing the manucript page by page, plot point by plot point, to see if I have enough of everything. This is a new thing for me so still feeling my way through it but I think it's going to allow me to really see the weaknesses and fix them. It's already been enlightening. Tomorrow I will begin really, really rewriting. I know I've been promising this for weeks, but for real this time.
I made turkey bacon in the George Foreman grill today. It worked pretty well.
