The daily musings of Kara Lennox, Harlequin romance author.
<-----Coming June 2008
The first in the Second Sons trilogy.
Cooper Remington has been overshadowed by his older brother his whole life. Now, an unexpected inheritance gives him the chance to strike out on his own. He is now the proud owner of a fishing charter service. But the beautiful redhead he finds living on the boat might have something to say about who inherited what.

In another life, I create and sell Memo-Pause(TM), the wearable notebook for the foxy but forgetful woman. Here are a few of the styles:
First, my apologies that the image on this blog isn't updated. For some reason, I can't get my new book cover to display. So while the copy above does say something about ONE STUBBORN TEXAN, with an arrow pointing to the cover, that's not the right cover. I hope to get it straightened out.
Meanwhile, if you'd like to see my new cover, it's up at my website, www.karalennox.com.
More blogging news: I actually have two blogs. The other is at http://karalennox.blogspot.com. It used to be an exact duplicate of this blog, but now I've changed it. The new blog is "The You-Can-Do-It Blog," and it's all about making your dreams come true. I hope to blog daily on something that will inspire you to believe in yourself, dream big, reach for the stars.
But don't worry, I'll still be blogging here about all the silly stuff--my house, my pets, my exercise, cooking, yoga, and food! And, oh, yeah, my writing career (which sometimes moves so slowly I have to blog about other things).
I hope you'll check out the new blog. Today I talk about my friend Becky MAKING THINGS HAPPEN. It was inspiring to watch. (It's about the first monthly meeting of the Mystery Writers of America Dallas sub-group, and Becky did it!)
Oh, one more thing: THE TOUR DE FRANCE STARTED TODAY, WAHOO! I was pulling for my Swiss sweetheart, Fabian Cancellera, to win the prologue, and he did! I was also pleased to see that my French sweetheart, Thomas Voeckler, is riding again this year. I'm not sure who to cheer for to win overall, though. I like Levi but I'm just not sure he's got it all together. He did not sound confident when they interviewed him. I like George Hincapie. I would be thrilled if Oscar Ferreira won. He was last year's surprise second-place winner who will possibly be named the official 2006 winner if Floyd Landis gets disqualified.
I think whoever wins, it will be a surprise. Someone young like Frank Schleck or Markus Fothen. I'll be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to watch the race on TV!
Thanks for visiting,
Kara
